Pregnant Women are encouraged to discuss their participation in any of these courses with their physicians prior to the first lesson. You should discuss the effects of exposure to loud sounds and (if using an indoor range) airborne lead particulate. If any students are pregnant or nursing an infant, they should not handle any chemicals, lubricant, or solvents unless they have discussed doing so with your physicians.

Shooters Active in Firearms Education (S.A.F.E.) requires such students to present written proof of their physicians consent.
